    Hi there,

I'm traveling at the moment. Unfortunately my AAO doesn't start anymore. I got a message that a system file was missing when booting. I will try to re-install windows via usb stick, however maybe someone can recommend an alternative? The most important thing for me is internet access. Is it possible to create Linux on a usb stick or sd card? It should be very easy to install as I am bound to internet cafes at the moment. Everything should run out of the box.

I also do not have the Linpus Linux with me.

I would be very grateful for some advise.

    Cheers,
    Frank

Unetbootin is a program that'll create a bootable Linux installer on your flash drive.

For out of the box support, I've had great luck with Fedora. Another alternative would be Ubuntu Netbook Remix.
