Win 7 starter compat DVD burner for Acer Aspire One

    I wonder if someone can advice me of a external DVD burner compatible with Win 7 starter for new AO 532h. I have been reviewing some on Amazon, CompuUSA, etc., but there is not info on compatibiliy with Win 7.

    I have good luck with Newegg. I am in no way affiliated with them.

    Look for an external USB 2.0.

    Can't remember what I use but I purchased it in Maplins. One thing to watch out for is the USB cable socket. If it is 'a mini' USB socket then it is fragile and non-spec. You really need a 'mico' USB or standard USB socket - both of which meet International specs.

    You can however get a male mini USB / female micro USB converter plug for about £2 on eBay.

    For burning I use the free imgBurn application - this free
