    There are a number of printer drivers pre-installed on the AA1. Please post the model of printer that you are trying to install.

    The Canon Pixma iP1300 printer driver does NOT seem to be pre-installed on the AA1.

    Canon asia sometimes have linux drivers for pixma printers when the usa and european sites don't
    http://support-asia.canon-asia.com/

    I checked the IP1300 doesn't have a linux driver listed but the IP1000 does, you could try that driver it may work.

    Canon Australia also has drivers for the IP1000

    http://support-au.canon.com.au/EN/s...model==PIXMA iP1000 menu==Download os==Linux&

    You need to install the
    Canon Bubble Jet Print Filter Ver. 2.50 for Linux (rpm Common package) first
    followed by the
    Canon Bubble Jet Print Filter Ver. 2.50 for Linux (rpm Package for iP1000)

    I can't guarantee the driver will work but I would give it a try.
