Will the driver solve the SSD slowness problem ultimately?

I've installed TinyXP on ONE. It took around 80 minutes to complete the installation of XP. Spend another 20 minutes for installing drivers.
The speed is within acceptable range, although the system hangs once a while, it's still bearable.

My questions is, usually with 1GB ram, it should not be problem to run XP.
Will an updated whatever driver solve the slowness issue ultimately, so that it will be fast enough to run a normal XP?

This is a ATA drive, so there is no further driver for it besides ICH7 driver.
One thing that considerably speed up my cmputer was SuperCache application, but unfortunately it is very expensive.

    I've got some interesting numbers:

    EEE PC 701 4GB drive
    Sequential write: 9.3MB/s
    Writing 512KB files: 4.4MB/s
    Writing 4KB fiels: 0.06MB/s

    Cheap Pen Drive
    Sequential write: 5.464MB/s
    Writing 512KB files: 1.635MB/s
    Writing 4KB fiels: 0.022MB/s

    SD Card
    Sequential write: 15.1MB/s
    Writing 512KB files: 9.3MB/s
    Writing 4KB fiels: 0.16MB/s

    Acer One
    Sequential write: 11.87MB/s
    Writing 512KB files: 1.795MB/s
    Writing 4KB fiels: 0.017MB/s

The problem relies on the lousy random write performance for small files.

no, this isnt a driver issue, One's SSD is slow. Linpus reduce write access, so it works fine. XP cant reduce it, and it's choppy.

that's why acer sells XP One ONLY with Hdd.
