When I ran the package manager first time it downloaded a great many packages, took over 4 hours and crashed with an error message. I later found a few things I needed among these packages and installed them. The others I don't know. My questions are:
- Will I ever need the install packages of the programs I already installed again or can I delete them?
- Is it safe to delete some supposedly useless packages?
I'm talking about the .rpm files under /var/cache/yum/updates/packages/
