I am running an AAO with Ubuntu 8.04 and was having all kinds of issues with wireless, like alot of people on here. I was NOT getting random drops in the middle of a connection, but my AAO was unable to connect to my wireless virtually 100% of the time.

Then I remembered that I assigned my AAO a static IP in the DHCP config on my router. Undoing that stopped all problems and everything is back to normal now.

Not sure about the intermittent disconnects that some others are having, but I figured I'd post this (dumb, easy) fix on here for anyone else that might be experiencing the same issue.
