I have a acer aspire one (Orig 120HD 1 Gig Ram Linux Model ) Upgraded to 320 HD 1.5 Gig Ram and now want to upgrade the pci express wifi card to wireless N can anyone suggest a suitable card to do this.
I have seen these but not sure if they will work

    INTEL WIRELESS 300MBPS 4965AGN 802.11N MINI PCI-E CARD
    Dell Wireless 1500 802.11N 300Mbps Wifi Mini PCI-E Card
LENOVO IBM 11N MINI PCI-EXPRESS WIRELESS 300MBPS CARD
    ATHEROS AR5008 802.11N 300MBPS MINI PCI-Express Card

Can anyone tell me if any of these will work or if not

    Many thanks

Intel cards are supprted fully with Kernel drivers, Aheros require MadWiFi drivers. Don't know about Dell - it's probably Broadcomm chipset which suppose to work out of the box as well. Lenovo - I did not even know they do Wi-Fi cards :)

Go for Intel if you can afford it. For me that was the best choice...

I actually have the atheros AR5008X card in mine and it works great. The wifi light even works. Dunno if the light works for the other cards.

Oh and the card only cost me $35
