    Hi,

Have read with interest the threads re: network problems. I believe that the problem I have - that the network connection (Win32) becomes either limited or drops out (even though Windows still shows connected).

Was using for a couple of hours last night and by the end it was dropping out almost every minute. Had fan control on various settings (temp was reported as aqpprox 60c with AA1fancontrol). This morning, no problems at all.

Is this a design fault after all, and nothing to do with the networking hardware/software?? If so, how do I mod so that I can dissipate the heat a little better.

    TIA,

    Ian

Someone on "The Acer Guy" did refer to fitting a home made heat sink. No detail though.

Can't do any harm, if there's space & it's done properly.
