White Stripe Middle Screen Acer Aspire One

    Hi everybody, i was turned on my Netbook this morning and this annoying stripe just appeared in the middle of the screen.

    My netboook model: Acer Aspire One model ZA3 (A0751h-1279) the stripe also appears inside the bios setup.

    I was logged in the chat support of acer but nothing helpful for this. Someone here with the same problem??

    That has definately got to be something wrong with the video card/controller for the LCD. Convince them to let you send it in for warranty repair. They are tricky and try to get out of doing warranty stuff but keep telling them "I've already done that. It doesn't help" to everything they suggest.

    before you send for warranty, have you tried an external monitor?

    Just that in my experience Acer likes to say they don't have warranty on their monitors... It may be quicker and cheaper(and most times faster) to get a replacement screen off eBay and fit it yourself, if that's all you need. An external monitor will determine this.
