White screen when Power Mode turns monitor "OFF"

    Been happening for a while now, when I set the Windows Power Mode to turn the screen off after a period of time, instead of the screen going dark, it turns bright white. Quite aggravating, especially in a dark room. Was curious if this would be a hardware or sofware problem, or if anyone else has experienced this? :confused:
