I have an Acer Aspire one with Windows XP SP3 1gb ram. Now the Front Switch wont turn on Wi-Fi nor can start the WiFi card. I tried the windows trouble shooter wich lead to a quagmire. After I did as they asked Uninstalling the Device then trying to re-install it. Windows cant seem to find the WiFi card, I had to try to manualy install it but windows cant just seem to initiate the device.

Any help would be apreciated. Thanks in advance.

I had he same problem and same solution. Needed to shutdown, disconnect power and remove battery. Once powered back up, the wireless adapter worked again.
