Indeed, £199.99 is a bargain and delivery is free. I have just just ordered one. The web site is being really slow and I had to try repeatedly but it seems to have worked.

I would rather get it a bit earlier, but since my 3G iPhone is coming on 11/7, I don't want to suffer from new gadget overload ;-).

Hmmm, I gave them my card details and went through the full process. I hope they stick to the £199 they stated at the time. Thirty quid extra isn't a huge amount (although I suppose it's a 15% hike) but I'm a Yorkshireman and I don't like someone trying to increase the price after I've bought it.

Make that 2 less - I ordered mine last night. I also ordered a 16GB class 6 SDHC card for $50 including shipping.

 

I was so tempted to buy one off newegg after I saw it here. But I'm still waiting for a blue 8gb ssd linux version to be somewhere in north america =(

I bought mine from http://www.digitalcameras.com.au and received it the next day. Cost $560 before postage, but AU has $99 cashback offer which goes until september I beieve, so it will have eventually cost me $460 after i send away these barcodes.

What are you referring to? That page looks normal enough to me...

 

I have ordered mine (basic model) from Amazon.co.uk to be delivered in Mid August. Price is the best I can find here in the UK at £219 delivered. It is on sale in PC World UK website for £249. All a long way from the promised £200. :evil:

According to Play.com on their Acer Aspire One product page they have put back the release date to 7/8/08, can anyone confirm this? :cry:

 

It has changed again. Last night there was no price showing and big red words saying, "This item is no longer available"
