    Hey Guys,

Any idea where to buy the 6 cell battery for the 751h? I bought my 11.6" from Walmart and, of course, it came with the 3 cell battery. I would love the extra few hours.

    Maybe you can try it on eBay. I found a 9-Cell 7800mAh badboy for only $ 53 http://cgi.ebay.de/7800mAh-battery-Acer ... 3:1|294:50

The 6-Cell (5200 mAh) in my Acer 751 lasts about 6,5 hours.

Btw. has someone found/bougth a matching case or pouce for your 751?

    Greetings,
    Felix

    Felix,

Thanks for the advice. I saw those 9 cell as well. How much physically larger is the 9 cell in regards to the 6 or 3 cell?

I bought this sleeve on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0369384084 and it fits perfectly (a little snug even). I just searched 'laptop sleeve 11"' and there were a couple. Depending on how much larger the battery is, your AO might not fit into that sleeve.

Hmmm....Are the Aspire One 8.9" model batteries interchangeable with the 751h? That 7800mah lists all the 8.9" models as being able to use it and has 751h in the title. If that is the case, finding a 6 cell would be really easy on Ebay...

Mine came from Ebay, but I paid a whopping $80 (w/ shipping) for the thing, because it was the only 6-cell listed for 751h at the time.

Same old story. With the original Acer 8.9", buying it with a 6 cell battery only added about $30 to the price. Same today at Music World. Instead, buy the battery separately and the cost goes to $80.

Re using a 8.9" battery, can't be done. At least using my 8.9 6 cell battery will NOT fit into my 751h. I was planning on swapping them out, and then selling my 8.9" with a 3 cell battery.

That seller on ebay that says the battery is for the 751h...for $53.00 is wrong. I just got the one I ordered from them today...and it doesn't fit.

There are two dealers selling this on ebay. The one I got fits the Acer One 10.1" I also have a 10.1" netbook.

Frys sells a very nice Targus case which is a perfect fit, for only $24. Frys sells the 751 so all I did was take all their cases which might fit to try on the 751. Its a black nylon case w/gray trim & yellow stitching. the case states it is for a 13" laptop but the length (sleeve) of the case is PERFECT for the 751.

    STOP YOUR SHIT call 1-800-637-7000
and ask if a acer D250 battery will work in a acer 751h .
"of course the dude on the phone had his Diaper on his Head to tight" and needed to ask the same thing like 8 times.
and that is what THAY told ME was YES.
so My fault if it dont = NO.

get your words in order . format them Properly
Dont be so Quick to "try" to start shit
"Batterys from the A150 or D250 will not match!"
    and i Know a 250 and a 150 are the same.

and if you were trying to say Batterys from the A150 or D250 will not match the 751 then that may be so .
i did not "fondle" the battery off the 2 751's that i had thay were only here for just over 1 day.

    as i sed i called them @ 1-800-637-7000

and the 751h is STILL to SLOW .like a Dry SLUG.. Thats Why thay have a New model to Replace it all to make up for thair design "Screwup".
    Kinda like Fords Edsel was.

Radioman, YOU come into a part of the forum dedicated to the 751H and go on about your negative opinion of the 751H. The fact is that the people here ARE ACTUAL OWNERS of the product who are discussing it.

If you bought the product and returned it, that's fine. You're right to choose what you do to it. But it's very HYPOCRITICAL to constantly rant on about YOUR bad experience with the device and the ACCUSE others of starting shit.

Just do what I did long time ago : Click on his name to view his profile, then add him to your Foe list.
That way you don't get to see his inane rants, unless someone quotes it in their posts. The guy is a "50 employee CEO"(read: Dofus with a capital D) thats legendary in his own mind - If that gets his rocks off, more power to him  - But protect yourself from getting aggrevated by his stupidity with the Foe list. Thats what it is there for.
