I run a publishing company (KidPub); we publish books and stories written by kids. I also consult in project management...last quarter I was doing seminars in Washington DC and North Carolina nearly every week. In fact, it was all the travel that prompted me to by the AAO...I had been lugging around a giant Thinkpad.

I'm working as a computer repair guy at my dad's computer shop / repair centre.
I really like modding stuff.. hardware and software!
I'm really into newest technology, keep up with a couple of magazines and stuff.
I guess my hobby is messing around with my Aspire One and other gadgets I find in my house. :D

Here's a new one.... I'm a geologist. Needed a small lappy for travel.

Hobbies: some mild-hippie activities, some tech, and curling (it's like chess on ice!)

I'm 19 and I'm an HVAC apprentice in my first year. I'll be a second year the end of June, which will be nice because I should be getting a raise :)

I started working at this company when I was 17, but that was just for a summer, then I went back to highschool and finished grade 12 and now I am working for the company full time.

I retired in July 2008 after 30 years as a community college teacher and administrator. For over 12 years, I worked in institutional research, which meant I used computers on a daily basis to develop statistical reports. When I retired, I had been Chief Academic Officer for three years. Now, I teach online classes for a couple of colleges, do some web programming work and environmental consulting. (My master's degree was in freshwater biology.) I have "consulting biologist" on my business card.

The Aspire One is perfect for keeping up with my online classes (I have almost 100 students this semester) and it's great to be able to type up my biology field notes in the field!

I thank my lucky stars that I am on a fixed benefits, rather than a fixed assets, pension plan :)

I am 24, go to school for photography. I live in Atlanta, GA. I need a part time job. I just moved out of my parents house. I love living away from, albeit 6 miles, but I love it. I need to pay rent.

I install cabinets/remodel kitchens and baths, just getting into custom closets. My hobbies are all over. I'm in the build process of a home theater, that's taking most of my time and money lately. I've got an arcade in my garage with about 20 full size cabinets and 2 pinball machines. I have a skee-ball machine that I'm putting the finishing touches on. And have a decent sized horror memorabilia collection. I have a Chuckie doll, Hellraiser puzzlebox, Freddy Krueger glove and 10 or 12 assorted figures. I have a T-Virus vial from Resident Evil on order, and the Zuni Fetish doll from the film Trilogy Of Terror on the way. And I have a local guy building a sphere from Phantasm with the knife blades and drill bit sticking out.

    I'm homeless.

Most of the time I just wander around and do nothing.

My hobbies include sleeping, binge drinking, and shouting profanities at unsuspecting traffic.

You wouldn't believe how good of a signal my AAO receives from inside the usual metal dumpster.
I have a solar panel hooked up to a small LiFePO4 battery. Free internet FTW!
