What hardware

    Hello folks
    New laptop. normally work through pc. encouraged to buy both java security and ms outlook for £139 in Currys. Are they necessary.always downloaded security in the past. advised that this negates the warranty. Any advice please

    I take it you are referring Microsoft office when you say m.s.outlook
    I don't understand java security?

    The only thing to say is companies make their profits on add ons.

    The main things you need are a quality anti-virus and anti-malware program

    The rest is up to you.

    I can't see how putting on extra software would affect your warranty but
    recheck with currys.
