Mostly Dishonored 2 and Silk Song at this point. I did dl dying light the beast but haven't installed it yet prob take an hour on my old system.

Oh and I finally installed Prodeus which is an old school style shooter, very small install of about 1.5gb kinda fun here and there. I also have MGS Delta but haven't decided if it's worth 93gb to install, prob not tbh. VERY bloated for just some minor QOL and graphics overhaul in the ever bad UE5 engine. The game is also not that long.

I already played Gears of War Remastered or whatever they released this year, it's a forgettable SP campaign at this point tbh. I already played the old first PC release, very little replayability there. I gather Co op is why this game has longevity to it. I still have Gears 5 installed and it's the same size as this one! just much better graphics etc Deleted remastered already.

Still have the Cronos bug that impedes progress, it's not that great of a game so I'll eventually delete it. Same goes for Hel is Us, just not enough there to care too much about it.

Reinstalled Dishonored 1 GOTY version so after this crop of games I'll probably replay that one. Other then that besides little games here and there Silent Hill F is the only one that I'd be interested in releasing soon. Besides Silk Song it really hasn't been that great of a year for PC games.

That 33 game is obviously jewced as far as the hype and coverage, lots of bots out there too saying it's so great. It's a turn based combat which doesn't interest me in the least. Sounds dumbaf and fake hyped imo. Other masonic pushed games are beyond good and evil, Specops The Line, etc Both just ok games nothing amazing about either of them other then ideological reasons to get pushed in the jewmasonic media complex.

Almost all peices of entertainment are jewced and pushed, artificially over rated big time. There are some good ones but most aren't. Fake reviews, bots, hype-notism and such. Don't spend a dime on any of it.

Silent Hill F for a bit. Initial impressions are bad tbh. Weird change up to the SH formula imo. There is a clunkiness to the combat that is pretty unsatisfying, slow reactions and strikes. After the creativity of 4 and the standard sh feel of 5 I don't know what they were thinking but it's konami so there you go.

I get the call back of 3 where you play as an annoying teenage girl but this game has no like to any of that, nor does it have the town silent hill nor toluca lake, so far anyways. A foreign setting doesn't really do the game much help either, I get that konami is japanese and this is probably more for that audience but there's no need to call it Silent Hill, they are just pimping the name and franchise to give it the cache and attention. Otherwise take off the SH name it's a generic horror game which would likely be forgotten.

UE5 of course overuses hw for what is shown that's a given. Stutter in places. I get weird plants wrapping and unwrapping twisting as I move in places also where there is more vegetation. Medium mostly 1080p dlss performance locked to 45fps it's fine most of the time. It doesn't look any better overall then Dishonored 2 without any dlss etc tricks which I believe came out in 2016. Lazy devs, greedy megacorps and the like have mostly ruined gaming this year for me. Silksong is still the best new game this year imo.

So I finally installed dying light the beast and it's pretty good. It feels like just a dlc to the first game tbh. Since it's modern it doesn't look or run as well as dl1 but it's pretty good looking at the med settings I play at. Dl1 is still the best in the series by far.

This has guns almost right out of the gate. It's ofc got the upgrades and such trees. Flings trainer works well to negate a lot of time filler stuff. I hear it's only about 30 hrs or so which is unacceptable for full 70+ dollars. Silent hill f is a worse ripoff tho. Sail the seas, if you don't own it you can't steal it. Digital goods are not the same as physical goods period. No one's missing anything with infinite copies, it's worthless in the physical world we live in. They made their bed now they can sleep in it. Digital anything is valueless.

It's amazing that even the fitgirl cut down version I have is 58gb install size. Dl1 with the huge dlc is about 24gb. The bloat is terrible. And they need to have texture options instead of forcing 4k textures for most people who play at 1080. But they're lazy and expect us to do bug testing and have bloated price hardware of the last few years. Scam of selling hardware w bloated games. Idgaf about idiots who spend 1200 on a GPU phukem.

So silksong, dying light the beast and dishonored 1 replay after a replay of dishonored 2. Great games all of them.

I find DL the beast to be a bit disappointing as far as the open world though. It's mostly just military-bad guys npcs and rando save them npcs. There is no alive people who are not part of the little good guy places here and there idk seems too empty compared to DL1 and DL2. They needed to add in more side npcs and stories and just more of them around the world. Gameplay is great, looks great even at my med specs on an old 2060 laptop, good enough. I've not patched it above what came with fitgirl repack and I've noticed very little problems. Same with Silk Song.

Dishonored 1 is such a great game, a classic still looks ok today, and in some places it looks really good. DH2 still looks amazing to me in 2025 I love the graphical style. It's too bad we'll never get a proper 3 but idk what else they can do, you saved the princess in 2 and vanquished the bad guys. The DOTO smaller game is a separate story about the outsider, it could be ignored for a proper 3. DH1 doesn't need a remake or remaster yet.

Dishonored 1, silksong, android ports. I've also been into Wolfenstein modern games a bit. Old Blood is ok. All of those games are bloated imo, 40+ gb seems much for any of them, they're just shooter games really. The most interesting part about them is the narrative by jewmasontranny cult devs about the nazis, one of their lightning rod movements they financed, staffed and then destroyed mostly as an offensive against average people not in their cult. Not to mention the demented bots and weirdos who revel in brutality against fallible humans like them who were taken in by this whole sponsored movement by the jewmasontranny cultists.

The games are awfully woke in the story and such, especially the second one, nasty. So the ultimate wisdom is from some black tranny jew with a fro who pretends to be pregnant by who knows who. Disgusting stuff.

Still the games are entertaining I guess. I kept the installs and was a bit curious as to how they've aged. One of the most interesting parts is that Hitler lives in a spacestation orbiting Venus. Venus is a version of their sick tranny belief system, inana, astarte, isis, trannies. Tranny gods pretending to be women. Hitler was part of the cult no doubt, not a real person really. Almost certainly a trannyman and programmed cultist who knew exactly what she was doing as the rest of them. I highly doubt any of them died, just moved on to other cult duties.

Wolfenstein new order is a fun game for sure. It still looks great to this day imo no tricks needed. I think it's cutscene heavy though but the alt historical world is well fleshed out. It's of course over the top hyperbole. And def cheesy all over but the hyper cartoon dystopian world is kinda fascinating. Really what it is is the world the talmudick-kabbalist scum would love to have at some point. The jussr was a lot worse and would have been a more appropriate bad guy. But facts and real history never got in the Jews way before.

I've also installed the old blood title which of course is an even more campy story. Eventually I'll take the hour to 90 mins to install the last major game the new Colossus. Aside from the cringe jew story, blasko is likely a polish crypto jew, it's a well done modern Wolfenstein series and it's too bad they couldn't do more like new order and new Colossus. I get that Nazis are central to this franchise, meaning it's a Jewish franchise but they could have had alt history where the much more evil Soviet empire is the ultimate evil empire. Marxism includes fascism so it's legit to change it up and have more games of similar quality w the jussr as the evil empire. The Jewish British empire is def the irl version and they could easily have had that as another installment. Eh too close to irl I guess.

Jewmasontranny cult are the evil empire and their media complex is psych war, in fact people are programmed in so many ways by it. The products they must sell to keep it going up to now are just programmed into people to need or want. The marketing aspect is dangerous brainwashing hypnotizing.

I finished Wolfenstein new order and old blood on replays from years ago. To pretty much the last level of TNC. Glad to put them down soon.

Still tentatively Dishonored 1, Dying Light Beast, Silksong, and just re downloaded death of the outsider. I'm not much into games don't have the time and place for them too much. I did binge the Wolfenstein modern series but only bc I had time and place for it. No real plans to play much. I also grabbed Rage 1 since I remember Rage 2 from years ago being ok generic but looking great graphically. Maybe Rage 1 has better story or gameplay then 2. I don't plan on installing it anytime soon though.

Grabbed Planet of Lana but not sure I'll bother to install. 10gb install just for 4 hours gameplay hmm I guess it's doable more doable then 150gb for KCD2 and Stalker 2.

I had some hdd space and steamrip of Horizon Forbidden West and KCD2. HFW and KCD2 are just building off of the previous hit games so idk kinda just more of the same and both games are huge so if you played either one all the way through you've got a good helping and more of it. So I'm non-plussed with both of the sequels tbh More space to find, longer load times, higher reqs for largely similar worlds and gameplay idk.

They still haven't fully fixed KCD1 plenty of bugs there and just general bugginess, odd choices, terrible bloated menus, lack of choosing third person which would help with the general quisiness I get when riding horse etc I think combat would be much better in 3rd person too. At least give us the choice tbh like the FO games do.

HFW just more of the same also. I got kinda bored of the first game but did finish it. The thing that attracted me is hearing about the graphics but my old system is just not capable of it at decent fps and settings. For me it looks like Assassins Creed Odyssey with the muddy distant trees and such but ACO looks a lot better up close then this game does for me. You want the full experience you have to pay for it, modern games, especially UE5 ones, do NOT scale that well. I don't think either of these is UE5 though.

Also only have HDD space makes it take a lot longer to load for both games. I do have the disk cache enabler mod for HFW can't tell a difference though. I also copied that to my KCD2 folder not sure if it works on a different game or not probly not. However a lot is dependent on CPU GPU and both mine are pretty old which is probably the major reason for the sluggishness in shader loading and such. In game both work fine though.

Eh not too impressed by either of them. And I think if I stretch it and get Stalker 2 it'll prob be the same story.

I have to mention I'm also playing kena bridge of spirits and it's fantastic looking and fun to play. Great music reminds me of the impact that witcher 3 music had on me when I played.

For a game that doesn't have rt it looks awesome some of the best graphics I've seen in a long while. It is a relatively short game afaik I have not finished it yet.

Like wolfenstein modern games you can have raster baked in lighting and look fantastic. There's little excuse for rt or other then to sell hardware and save costs on development neither of which benefit end users much with the bloated greedster cost of pc gaming for a while.

The game design of some of the puzzles is bad though. It's hard to know what to do at times and having to look it up online is a Hallmark of bad game design. But overall kena is a fantastic game. Not 100gb, scales well, looks amazing, great music, fun gameplay etc one thing I tend to get is the strange desync w my controller and movement but this might be due to using fling trainer to speed up her movement idk but overall recommended.

I remembered an old game called sackboy which came to pc in 22 or so. I had played it a bit years ago but it was so buggy to be not worth it. Well w a lot of extra hdd space lately I went over to steamrip and got the latest version there.

And I have to say that the game is great w the patches. I've liked the Yoshi yarn game for a long time and later the Yoshi crafted game, similar no doubt. Altho sackboy doesn't match the quality of those games. It's still a lot of fun to play and looks good w dlss balanced at 1080p and isn't hard on my old system at all after the initial shader loading when you boot up.

The crafted art style is great and the rest is also done well. Plays great with a controller. These art style games hold up long term too. The Nintendo games are usually under 10gb but sackboy is about 50gb which seems crazy for a game that is not a huge open world. Sony games tend to be bloated in size.

I'm hoping astrobot comes to pc at some point.

Switching up the mechanism has been good also. Instead of grabbing a repack and then having to wait for it to install later I've done steamrip direct do of the whole install. This only works if you've got a lot of space for larger games and either a powerful CPU or the time to let it extract.

You're ddl a single rar file then you've got to extract it which w 100gb games can take 2hrs or more for my system. And you've got to have twice that space free if using the same drive. I did some settings in 7zip to get it to go faster but it can still take 30mins to over 2hrs for my old mobile CPU. Still it's nice to not have to apply 4 5 patches to an old repack. Most repackers don't work on anything but first scene release so if the game needs a lot of patches it's a pain to have to diy that.

I also grabbed dying light 2 reloaded which I had already finished before they added guns with the reloaded version.

Well this one didn't work out so well. Idk the problem but the steamrip version always has a fatal error. I'm not sure if it might be my old saves from v190 so I might try moving them and see if it works then grabbing a completed save for this version. I'd prob start a new game tho since it has guns and all the patches going way back. Techland is one of the best devs when it comes to long term game support.

So I couldn't get DL2 from steamrip to work, it seemed to need steam running to play, which is not acceptable for a free game that should be pre-bypassed. Total waste of time using steamrip there. For this game to get a current reloaded version I picked fitgirl due to her having viable direct dl links. Dodi has never had good ddl links nor has kaos, both of those are torrent only as far as I'm concerned. Torrenting is not always available in certain situations where you know you need a vpn which I do not have currently.

So v1190 repack and tenoke patches up to about 1.21 which are major ones then I'm done. As I've said I played this game to the end years ago and liked it. It's nowhere near as good as DL1 though nor it's DLC. DL The Beast I am currently playing but have not been back in a while due to other games getting in the way. It doesn't grab me as much as DL1 did even with crane back. The world is too empty and small, just one big bowl world with lots of empty forest and almost no residents outside of baddies or allies, not good. At least in DL1 and DL2 you had a world where there were npcs still trying to live apart from compounds and such. I remember the mail delivery and dating mini games of DL2, and who could forget the whacky side characters of DL1 etc

I don't think I'll install DL2 rn but it's good to get a current version with a few patches to bring it up to close to the finished game. Techland always does a ton of updates and events and such and that's nice but it doesn't really effect the core game story and they're obviously done with DLC for DL2 focusing on DLTB and likely DLC and add ons for that game going forward.

Therefore there's no need to have patches too much beyond or close to what has been done in the last year or so.

I was watching some Astrobot which is a well received PS5 exclusive and I have to say it reminds me a lot of Sackboy and also these took a lot of inspiration from the Mario Galaxy series which is still the gold standard despite their age. There's nothing like the beginning of either galaxy 1 or 2 the music the action etc takes you to a really good feeling and such.

I think astrobot really innovates with the ps5 controller more then anything, the gameplay looks very similar to the above mentioned games it heavily borrows from. Still it would be nice to get a pc version that doesn't need a ps5 controller so they could just adjust those sections as needed to be able to use an xbox etc controller. I couldn't imagine playing these type of games with a KBM setup. PC is great due to it's versatility. Obvioulsy at some point we'll get a PS5 emulator with a viable PS4 one working in some big games right now. But I think Sony is smart enough to know that one PS6 comes out they'd be smart to release this game for PC. Sales even at terrible current prices would be a great boost from an old game by then.

Sackboy aba is a blast when playing your own music, esp the monkey fire levels total engagement w the right songs.

Again this game borrows a lot from Mario 3d games and yoshis woolly world. There is also the Mario Galaxy series too. Astrobot is really just a rehash of these games but w the PS5 controller gimmicks similar to Galaxy and the Wii remote gimmicks.

From watching astrobot gameplay it really does lift almost everything from sackboy. It's a tweak and reskin almost. From the mechanics of play to spaceship stuff the only major difference is the non craft style which is very much like Galaxy. I'd still like it to come to pc sometime though. A good addition to the genre.

I grabbed Terminator 2d no fate and it's pretty good if pretty basic game just using the IP to milk sales. According to those who have played the whole game it's only maybe an hour or two. They want 30 bucks for that which is more then a 2 hour movie would cost if you take 20$ as the average price.

It's ok, but is really more of a phone game type of thing at like 10 or less for the amount of gameplay. Arcade games just don't rate at more then 10$ imo unless there's a LOT of new levels like 8hrs of normal play. This is just an IP nostalgia cash grab. This is similar to the Robocop and other games that are IP based, although Robocop features a lot longer campaign but is still overpriced. The 3d terminator game that has dlc and such and tries to be a Fallout type of game can be had for less then this game! It was likely the same or maybe 40$ when it was new, so this at 30$ is a total ripoff.
