Not that I do it myself, but you can also use it to talk to some cell phones to access the internet that way ("tethered" to the cell phone's connection).

You can also use it to interface with a Wii remote and try out some of the hacks that people have come up with.

And of course you can wirelessly access a full-size keyboard and mouse for desktop use.

I just got a Kinyo ArtDio 2.0 portable bluetooth stereo speaker for listening to my music and videos. Sure is a great improvement over the built-in speakers. It's battery operated but can also use its AC adapter if needed.

I use mine for internet access when I find myself either in a pay-to-play WIFI zone or without wifi completely.. it's slow over my tmobile network but at least I can get online. That's all I use it for. I should explore other possible uses... the Wii remote hack sounds interesting

I travel with my father everyother weekend and would like to get online via his phone and a bluetooth dongle. What all do I need to do this? Do I need a certain bluetooth dongle or software? He has a big Samsung phone with AT&T 3g, cant remember the model at the moment.

Only thing I actually *use* it for is internet access through my 3g phone (whenever there's not an open wireless AP around).

In theory GPS and file transfers but only for testing so far.
