Hello everyone I'm on the search for a new netbook and I was wondering which CPU out there is capable for doing HD movies? Would the z520 be good enough or the z530 or neither? Sorry I'm a newbie when it comes to this kinda of stuff.

Those two CPUs can playback HD movies smoothly only if there is hardware-assisted decoding of the HD video (the Intel GMA500 can do this but I'm not sure if the driver issue has been resolved yet). Otherwise, HD video playback will be less than satisfactory.

FYI, I have a netbook with a N280 processor (1.66GHz), and it plays 720p videos without noticable skipping. But the CPU usage is always near 100%! :(
