Weird screen

So I finally got my One today, but there's something wrong with it. The screen doesn't look right, as you can see:

Any idea if it's fixable, or will I have to return it?

The chances of getting that many dead pixels alll in the same place are like a billion billion to one lol.
More likely a slice in the monitor cable.
Definitely should go back though

I don't think it's dead pixels as the whole of the taskbar is showing, but the 'main' area of the display has been lopped off at the side. (That doesn;t help with fixing it though, sorry :roll

That happens when the displays connector is not properly attached.

After installing my 1GB extra mem, I had that problem. I resolved it by opening the computer again, removing the display connector and then reattaching it.

whip it open and check the ribbon cable for the display...
