Web Cam Sound Now Working

    Thanks to this post

    You will find that Acer have provided via Live Update a patch that provides sound when recording on the Web Cam.

    There is a facility to record from Internal or External Mic, but when I select External and then close the menu on opening again it has reverted to Internal Mic.

    Also note that one of the updates is to Network Manager and when installed you have to set up your WLAN again.

    The updated for recording was issued on the 2 April 2009.
