I have downloaded and extracted the binary codec package, Linux x86 20071007 (essential-20071007.tar.bz2) for MPlayer and moved the extracted files to /usr/bin/codecs but I still can't play Apple trailers. What to do?

Hi. Just follow the instructions posted in this link.
    http://aspireonelinux.blogspot.com/
I've installed all the rpm's by that order. Do not follow the first instructions. It's better to install the 4 rpm's posted in the end of the text, and then just run those command lines.
    It work perfectly for me.

I followed that tutorial to the point and installed the last 4 rpm's but I still can't watch Quicktime trailers. :(

That's strange. Did you entered those command lines? I've downloaded the Hancock trailer and it works perfectly.
You can only do one of the installations, not both.

I don't want to download trailers, I want to watch them online via the webbrowser.

Ok, I've tried to play a qt video in Firefox and the embeled plugin doesn't work. The strange thing is that the mediawrap plug is installed in firefox. The plugin is a acer-patch. It's all said.
