I've got the standard Linpus install. Somehow managed to make the volume control vanish. I can still open and adjust volume from the desktop right-click menu, but it's not in the tray any more. Any ideas how to get it back?

    Thanks.

you may have better luck asking this in the general linux sub forum, most of the people reading this forum are using fedora10 and although linpus is based on fedora8 linpus and acer have modified loads of the files and buggered about so much with it that it hardly resembles a fedora distro anymore lol

thx. good idea. my girlfriend won't let me put f10 on it because every time I touch it I seem to break something (like the volume control).
