I need to install a VNC server to the Acer AspireOne running Linpus Linux lite. I can get the vnc viewer to work, but I need a method to logon and control the netbook after it is deployed. The key is that I need to see what is being displayed on the netbook when I log in which is why I am trying to use VNC. I have tried RealVNC and TightVNC and nether will run the server.

Okay, instead of a VNC server I am trying to get the shared desktop wrking in KDE. I can load KDE, get the share desktop running, but the "configure" bottun does not work. I need to set up the box to allow all access. Any ideas? I noticed that I can not get into thw KDE network manager and I believe the two issues are related,
