Vista lite advice needed please

    Hello

    I have an aspire one 8gig hdd with XP installed at the moment
    Wanted to upgrade to vista so that i can use ready boost by putting some memory cards into it to give it a little boost
    Just wanted to ask if anyone has any advice - what can i cut from vista when i do a vlite disc?
    What drivers will i need..?

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated

    DON'T DO IT.

    Vista hogs WAY more memory than XP, I guarantee you your system will not run as well as it does with XP.

    If you have at least 1GB RAM in your Acer, XP should run just fine.
