When I installed XP Service Pack 3 on to the Acer Aspire One, the right side USB ports dont seem to work anymore. I have installed the chipset driver which said it was installing "usb devices".

I even tried deleting a registry as someone did on here, yet still no luck I have plugged in a USB memory stick 4 gig, 2 gig & 256mb. Tried my 160 gig sata that works on the left USB port, is there a way to fix this?

No I checked that aswell the whole right side seems to have gone off, I have opened it many times yes but to tell the truth I cant remember if it was working from the beggining or if its recently happened I never used the right side till I needed a mouse for gaming. But the last time I opened it I made sure I connected everything back up as always.

EDIT: when I say from the beggining I mean when I installed XP over Linux.

I agree. All you need to do is open AA1 and check connection between right hand side board with USB and MB...
