    Hi all,

I have a Corsair Voyager 16G USB flash memory stick which used to work in my Aspire One, but now is not recognised??
This device can be still be used OK in a XP PC. I have tried another USB drive in the Apsire and it reads it OK.
    Any advice appreciated... tks. Pete

    You can use the command

    dmesg

in a terminal to see what is going on.

    ....thanks Jasper.

Here is the relevant section returned by dmesg

    usb-storage: device found at 4
usb-storage: waiting for device to settle before scanning
    usb-storage: device scan complete
usb 1-2: reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 4
    usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -110

I cant find much info on the error line. Any advice once again appreciated.
