UrbanTerror FPS, FREE

If you like multiplayer first person shooters, this one works great on the One and it's free. It also is available for linux and mac. I just loaded it and it ran well at default graphics settings. Gameplay would be easier with a mouse though.

I only get about 15fps at lowest settings

 

It seems to run just fine in mine, how do I check frame rate?

 

Theirs probably an in-game way of checking but I'm not sure how. I used Fraps (http://www.fraps.com/); it is the best FPS and video recording software out there, and it uses very little memory and 0% CPU.

If you manage to get a much higher FPS I wonder what could be wrong my AA1

 

It's a quake3 game, so I don't see why it would run that poorly. Do you have the A101 with the SSD?

 

I have the A150. 1GB and HDD.

Quake 3 Arena runs brilliantly, its just UrbanTerror I suppose some may be able to handle the low FPS but its too too low for me.

 

Using the exact same model, and using the Fraps overlay, my fps ranged from a low of 18 to a high of 60 during gameplay, with it mostly staying around 25-30. This was on battery, btw.

 

guys if you like UrbanTerror or Counterstrike and you have unreal tournament, download tatical ops its wayy better graphically and runs extremely smooth, and i find is more fun. its hard to find a link to the mod but i still have the mod installer on my comp, i might be able to set it up via bitorrent or something if you guys want
