Can I use nLite on this ISO? Or will it screw up the USB installation?

Yes. Depending on your webcam you may have to uninstall and re-install different drivers.

 

This CD is probably incredibly great but it's so slow right now.

If anyone has the CD could you please make an .iso file and upload it to MegaUpload.
I really don't understand why one would use Rapidshare but.

 

anyone able to upload a working link for the .iso ? Rapidshare kills me :-\

If I recall there was a direct link somewhere in this forum. I'm pretty sure that's how I got it but that was way back in September when the Aspire One first came out. :?

The link to the other site, puts xp home under guides and was lightening fast for me. Whole .iso in under 10 mins.

when i stuffed up my machine and i installed windows xp pro i didnt get the nice notifications on screen when i turned the wifi off or when i turned the volume up and down there are also a few others that come up when you press certain keys. does this recovery cd do that ??

Can someone please post a working link to the Aspire One Recovery Disc for Xp. None of the links mentioned before in any of the forums work. The rapid share one doesnt let me download...says my IP address is already downloading something. Also, im not a demonoid member, so i cant download that torrent. can someone please please give me an alternative site (preferably torrent)

Hi, first excuse my english, I'm spanish and I have not a good english.
If you want make a lot of rapidshare downloads, you can use cryptload, it's a download manager for this page and other ones. You only must add the links and the program will download all parts, you don´t need an acounnt premium, can do It with "free download user".

At home, If you have the message "You have exceeded download cuota, You must wait X minutes" or similar, you can "resolve" it restarting you router, because you obtain a new IP for your DSL connection.

At office, If you have the message "You can´t download this file because you're downloading another file" or similar it's because all workers at office are using only one IP, only one person can download a file at the same time you can do nothing, only try, try and try until your start a download before that the other person start it.
