Unalocated space on drive c

    i recently got rid of a vista installation i had on the AAO and i still have a partiton of the drive c which is 50gb that leaves around 100gb for my windows xp installatiton. But now that i dont have vista i still have that partition that i cant seem to get rid of it and make the xp partiton back to the 160gb's. its really annyoing please help.

    Okay, well theres two simple ways of doing this:

    1) Reinstall xp, and this time give it the whole HDD space for installation;

    OR

    2) Download a partition managing piece of software like gparted. Just google "gparted", and try that. Make a usb version of it (im sure it will be possible), and boot from the pendrive. Gparted offers adequate resizing options so it should be all you need.

    ok thanks ill try gparted... i have already tryed some programs like partition magic seven and also EASEUS nd they didnt work.
    ill try making a bootable usb of gparted do you know of any tutorials that might help or have you done it and can tell me
