Hi all,

when I try to go to add/remove software (in system menu) I get the following error (internet connection works):

"Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please veify its poath and try again."

This is not enough, because if I try to install something via terminal I get the following error:

#sudo sudo yum install ntfs-3g
audit_log_user_command(): Connection refused
audit_log_user_command(): Connection refused
...

Do you have any idea?

thank you.

Sounds like an Internet connection issue more than an 'install' software-type issue, must say. Try verifying the connect (maybe another wireless net), firewall or router settings and/or try other Fedora repositories.

Good luck,

Regards, R

Hi,

I had the some problem and unmark the fedora repository in the repository manager.
Before that try to run the live update in the sttings tab.

Hi, I also have the same problem.
I can browse internet using firefox, but all of my internet does not work on other program, such as this add/remove software, aspire one mail, and messenger.

Any solutions?
