I have Ubuntu 9.10 dual booted on my XP One (model ZG5). This OS looks so sweet, better than XP; but I am having a keyboard issue. My keyboard layout is set to USA. But when I type a key that has a blue function key symbol on it (example: L also has a Fn 3) it types the Fn feature instead of the normal letter. To type normal I need to hold down my Fn key. So frustrating. Anyone else have this problem and solve it? HELP!

    Hi Barlow,

I believe you need to deactivate NumLk. To do so, hit "Fn+F11" and the keys you refer will be reported to letters. To change it back just it "Fn+F11" again.

    Happy new year.
