    Hello folks,

I got an Aspire One today with Linpus Linux, and I'm curious if I can install True Type Fonts on it. Bear in mind that my A1 is not connected to the internet, and I'm more or less a beginner at Linux.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Follow the instructions here. The only difference will be that you use a computer with an internet connection to download the .rpm file and save it to a flash drive.

Once you have it on a flash drive, you can plug the drive into your AA1, copy the file over, and complete the process.

Thanks, 100th monkey. Seems like they've removed th .rpm file though. I don't suppose there's some alternate way to get just a handful of fonts on there without it, is there?

Apparently all one needs to do is copy the .ttf files to the /usr/share/fonts/ directory, then restart, and they'll show up in Writer at least. Schweet!

Unifon transliterations on the go, here I come!
