I am having trouble getting mysql-query-browser to run properly on AAO. mysql-administrator work as expected, with the gui. mysql-query-browser goes through the connection screen properly, but then fails to open up the application window after authentication. I have tried various clean installs and it looks to have installed OK. The GTK requirements _should_ be in place because mysql-administrator works OK. Has anyone else had a similar problem or have any ideas? When running from the terminal I see:-

    [root@localhost log]# mysql-query-browser
    Loading simple Config module ...
    Creating backend ...
    Loading socket FrontEnd module ...
    Starting SCIM as daemon ...

...then the connection screen loads. If I type the wrong details, I get a connection error, if I type the right details, it appears that the connection works, but the main application window fails to open.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help!!
