Troubleshooting - Alpha Centauri - Wont Run

    Every time I launch Alpha Centauri, I get an error about "terrain.exe" and the game refuses to load.

    I have installed (in sequence):
    SMAC v4.0 Update
    SMAC Win 2000/XP Update
    Added line "ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=1" to my "Alpha Centuria.ini" file

    My AspireOne 150 specs are:
    Windows XP SP3
    1.6ghz Atom
    120 GB Harddrive
    1 GB Ram

    I've seen others have gotten the game working. I'd just like to know how they went about it.

    *Update*

    So I set the screen resolution to 640*480 in Properties for "terrain.exe" and it starts up fine now.

    Still have to try playing a game for a few turns to see if it crashes.
