Trouble with recognizing a USB CD-ROM

    I have a LITEON eSau208 cd-rom that is not easily recognizible by my AOD150-1165. It works right away on other PCs that I have but on the ACER it requires multiple attempts in the different USB ports until Windows XP SP3 "sees" it. Anyone have any insight on this to perhaps cure this problem ? Thanks.
