Any chance the keyboard for the AOA150 can be modded to accommodate a trackpoint? (i.e. also known as the red dot pointer famous from the thinkpad series also known as "the nipple"

I think it would be a matter of 3 things:
    1. if you can find a pointing stick and small enough control adapter anywhere
    2. if you can bore out a large enough hole between the keys without breaking the delicate mechanism that allows the keys to work
    3. if you can find a pointing stick shallow enough that it can fit in without interfering with the electronics board below

If you can satisfy the three above it should be possible, though would require some serious work. You would have to make the hole, take the keyboard sufficiently apart, probably reroute a few of the keyboard traces, cut out some metal, firmly attach the mouse, find a place to stick the control board, find a free USB or serial connection (unless you want to sacrifice one of your external USB ports or add an internal USB hub), and finally wire the actual sensor to a control board. Then it's only a matter of drivers.
