    Hi there fellow modders,

I guess we all know about touchscreen mods.. some of us succeeded at it some of us didn't.
I realy like my touchscreen and i love working with it, but i often forget to take my stylus (the stylus that was in the box of the solderless touchscreen kit) with me...

So i was thinking, does anyone have an idea how to put some kind of retractable hidden stylus in the case of a One ?

I'll search the web and google around for some ideas.. if i find something i'll post it here.

    Greetings..

    This is my second option...

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.8696

I'm thinking of stripping the stylus housing out of a replacement case for the Nintendo DS, and trying to fit it in my One...

Anyone any remarks on this ?

drill a hole in the case and line it with foam to hold the stylus. That's what I'm planning on doing after Christmas.

How about mounting the stylus in the left front of the case, a visual mirror opposite of the WiFi switch? The stylus would pull out the left side of the case.

Also would it be a good idea to mount a switch on the stylus holder, so that when the stylus is stored the touchscreen is turned off, and when you remove the stylus the touchscreen powers up?

    Suggestions? Feedback?

i cant even begin to imagine how that would work, switch? how? oO

isnt the sd card slot on the left side?

i mean i guess you could compromise the fan vents and stick it in there..

A micro switch which opens the 5 volts for the TS controller. It would act the same as plugging or unplugging a USB plug for the TS.

Don't have my case open, but I think there is room here as shown in red

so as the stylus enters it will push the switch and cut off the power..? how is it secured as to not drop out? im guessing it has to act like a click pen action cause when you pull it out it has to be a push-pop out manouvre so the ts is activated

You can get like 5 DS stylus for like $2.
You can make room for the stylus by removing the kingsinton lock under the power button.

    Hi Guys,

at first sorry about my english - but ill do my very best.

I have buld a Stylus mod - with no drilling the case - because its full (tochscreen, bluetooth & Gps there is no more place.

    the things

Stylus from an XDA mine or MDA (look @ ebay)
    the coil from a pen
    tape
and two cabel connector or is it called binder (the real smal one)

put the tape on the coil - fix the tape-coil with the biner on the front of the case

    look @ the picture
