    Hi

Just got a new A150 with Linux on. I've installed Windows XP and the Synaptics Touchpad driver from the Acer FTP site. Now the tochpad is really hard work. It seems I need to keep lifting my finger off all the time because the mouse cursor isn't moving as far as I would like. I've turned up the appropriate setting in the Synaptics properties but it still isn't as good as I'd like. I've also got Linux and OSX installed and the mouse behaves nicely with these. If I uninstall the Synaptics driver it returns to working nicely but I lose the tap to click and the scrolling functionality.

Has anyone else experienced this and can offer any suggestions?

    Cheers

    Geraint

I found the touchpad very difficult to use with the official driver. So I have uninstalled the driver, and am much happier with the Windows default driver.
