Touchpad and keyboard not working after update

    Hi,

    I hope someone can help me. I had a messenger issue that I tried to resolve by using Live Update. After rebooting I now have no touchpad or keyboard. I've tried FN-F7 to no joy. I've tried a USB keyboard and mouse and although they light up they don't respond.

    Both were working fine before the Live Update. I suspect that I will have to use a recovery disc but if anyone can help that would be appreciated
