Toshiba - mystery wire (LCD Loom)

    OK, I've taken apart my share of laptops. This one seemed like a normal LCD replacement. When done, I see this black (wire with a round eyelet connector) with no place to hook it up. Looks like some sort of ground, Pic attached. Thoughts? M305-S4910

    Thanks for the reply. Yes - looks like an earth connection - but no place for it to connect (within it's reach). BTW, found why my LCD is not working - bad cable!!!

    OK, I took out the LCD video cable and found that the 'mystery wire" is related to the WebCam. Part of that wire loom goes to the WebCam - this other black wire(mystery wire) goes nowhere. Strange...
