    Hi folks

Thanks for all the help in setting Thunderbird as my email client - viewtopic.php?f=67&t=12645#p80567

Please can someone help me make it my default? - so that when the 'new mail' icon appears, clicking on it will take me to Thunderbird instead of Acer's Aspire one mail!

I have gone to xfce > settings > preferred applications and set Thunderbird as default there, but when email arrives and brings up the 'new mail' icon at the bottom of the screen - I click it and up comes the dreaded Aspire one email client!

I feel I am missing something here. Any suggestions as to how I redirect that to Thunderbird???

BTW: I have an AA1 with Linpus as supplied. It is the SSD version - no disk
