Thin Ultrabook with 256 SSD & >8GB Ram

Hey!

I used PC for my whole life but now I think that mobile device would help me a lot... you know computer science studies, many hours at University

I got several points that i would like to have in my laptop:

1. Intel i5 Processor - here i'm wondering whether 8th gen will use less energy than 7th gen?
2. At least 8GB of Ram - if laptop has a capability of upgrading ram in the future that's great
3. 256 GB SSD
4. I'd like it to be small and light - like: 13.3'' - 14.5'' and less than 1.7kg
5. FHD screen with matte coating on it
6. Battery that will last more than 8 hours

And about the price.. not sure here but i guess something like 800/900€ or 1000/1100$.

I found something like this:
Asus ZenBook UX430UA for ~900€
Although battery isn't soo great the rest is sufficient.

Have you heard about something better? Please let me know!


PS. And one more thing:
What do you think about Microsoft's Surface Laptop? Lately i saw it on sale for ~1150€ (8 Ram & 256 ssd)
If it would be on the better sale - let's say 1050€ - would be worth it to pay more to get this device?
