the 8mb ram of AAO can handle a 12gig mkv film

last night i tried this 12 gig mkv matroska film(mkv) and it flawless cant see any lag or bump on it . how could it be ?

Because it has 512mb RAM, not 8mb RAM, and only has to access part of the mkv file at any given moment.
