Television Advert for AAO (UK)

I've just seen the advert on TV for the AAO.
It's obviously the American one with the Acer UK website address just tacked on at the end.
I don't know who at Acer UK ( look for the person who looks like this ) decided on this approach, but basically its a joke :lol: ...isn't it ?

... I like the collection of of accessories for AAO in the Amazon advert at the top of the forum.

 

I saw this advert the other day and was hoping it was a joke. It almost makes me want to return my AAO (only joking)

It in more cheesy than stilton!

 

There's an American TV ad? Did they decide to play it in the UK before America??

 

i watched it on youtube...that has to be a joke. I think the goal was to make the one look less "serious", and it's obviously directed at women.

and even weirder, that commercial hasn't aired here (In Chicago) yet...so maybe it was made just for the UK market? hahaha

Thanks for the link... has to be a joke, does make it look less impressive than it is though! Shame, could be marketed soo much better. It should be advertised as a classy nippy little portable piece of 'luxury' IMO. Thats how I see it, its sexy and quick!

 

Now that was a horrible ad by any standards. I would be curious to know if Acer really increased the awareness of the Aspire ONE with this ad :?:

 

Several people have said "saw an advert on TV for that little computer you bought"
So the advert appears to be working a bit (even if it's a bit cheesy!)

 

I don't think its an American ad it seems very 'European' to me. Its looks dubbed. Its awful.

 

They should get Keanu Reeves as Neo from "The Matrix" to advertise it... after all, it is "The One!"
