My Task bar is gone. The one with the battery life indicator, Wi-Fi signal icon and so forth. How do I get it back?

Is there a little arrow on the left hand side of the screen at the bottom?

    Have you set advanced desktop?

Well there is a help button on the panel manager, however it doesn't appear to do what the help note say :(

You should be able to configure the panels.... I will look in more detail later.

    Sorry.

A known issue (no answer yet)

Spotted it on forum.xfce.org search for "acer aspire one".

I suppose that the acer panel manager could be removed and a new version downloaded and installed, just thinking out loud....
