Hello, I am wanting to change my SDD to a 2.5" SATA 80gb HDD and wondering if I need anything certain before I install the HDD like a BIOS,Connector, etc?

Being you have the SSD, you don't have the SATA connector on the motherboard. You only have the ZIF connector. You can get the SATA connectors and solder them to the contacts on the board, but it is difficult and can result in a dead mobo if you do it wrong.

You can replace the SSD with a larger SSD that uses the ZIF (what I did), or you can replace it with a small HDD that uses the ZIF connector. It would be much easier to go that route.
