Storage Expansion slot

    I have an Aspire One AOA 110 8.5 inch screen. It has the 16gb ssd internal Running Ubontu. I installed a 4gb sdhc card in the storage expansion slot on the left side and nothing happens. Any place to find some explanation.

    Does the SDHC show up under the devices?
    at the terminal type: df

    this should display something similar to:
    laptop:~$ df
    Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
    /dev/sda1 7368560 3429860 3564388 50% /
    udev 248748 232 248516 1% /dev
    none 248748 100 248648 1% /dev/shm
    none 248748 80 248668 1% /var/run
    none 248748 0 248748 0% /var/lock
    none 248748 0 248748 0% /lib/init/rw
    /dev/mmcblk0p1 15814656 15037664 776992 96% /media/Mymedia

    If it isn't there it may need to be mounted. You can also try looking for it in File Manager
