Start Up PLZ PLZ help

i'm going to get this laptop soon and i was wondering if up need a cd to run this when you first get it or should i invest in a portable cd-rom drive :?:

 

Nope. Just charge, turn on, follow instructions for set up, and go. Initial setup takes an hour-ish, and then you're set.

CD drive is a nice accessory, but is optional.
