spare AC adapter

    Undervoltage is always better than overvoltage, but may cause undue strain on certain components due to not being supplied with enough current to properly power the component. Why don't you try eBay for a spare OEM charger or a non-OEM travel charger as I did? I picked mine up from a dealer in Hong Kong, got it in two weeks and it works fine. Looks just like a standard wall transformer type unit for anything else (cell phones, etc.) except that it is 19 volts with the proper amps and is electronically controlled for over/under voltage. I think I paid about $15 USD including shipping.
