    Sometimes the keys fail.

I reinstall the Windows XP and after, I changed the keyboard to a new keyboard, and the problem persist.

The problem occurs mostly on Outlook Express.

Yours have any idea from this problem ?

are you physically changing keyboards? or just selecting a new keyboard layout from within Windows?

I'm guessing that you're changing keyboards to a completely different layout etc. So after installing the new keyboard, are you changing to the appropriate keyboard layout in your regional settings?

oh I see, sorry I mis-interpreted your OP. I now understand that you changed the keyboard thinking it was malfunctioning.

If I was experiencing problems that a replacement keyboard didn't fix, I'd be looking at a BIOS update.
